What makes Placentia a little different is the mix. Along with the standard tract homes, there's a pocket of older properties near the historic downtown area and some newer construction near the eastern edge toward Yorba Linda. The older homes need the most attention. Galvanized pipes losing flow, clay sewer lines cracked by tree roots, and water heaters that have been working overtime for 15 years.
