Last Updated: May 2026

Olson Superior Plumbing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit olsonsuperior.com.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact Information: Name, phone number, email address, and location when you submit our contact form or careers application.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, time spent, referral source, and landing page, collected through Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Marketing Attribution Data: When you arrive at our site from an advertisement, search result, or marketing link, we capture the referring URL parameters (UTM tags, Google Ads click identifier “gclid”, and similar identifiers from other ad platforms) so we can measure which marketing channels lead to qualified inquiries. The Google Ads gclid identifier is retained for up to 90 days.
  • Call Tracking: We use CallRail to track phone calls for service quality and marketing attribution. Calls may be recorded for training purposes.
  • Device & Network Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and a truncated form of your IP address (last segment removed) for fraud and bot prevention. Approximate geographic region is derived from the same network metadata.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your service inquiries and schedule appointments
  • To provide and improve our plumbing services
  • To communicate with you about your service requests
  • To analyze website usage and improve our online experience
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and attribute inquiries to the channels that produced them
  • To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent submissions

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

  • Google Analytics 4: Website analytics and traffic measurement
  • Google Tag Manager: Tag management for analytics and marketing tools
  • Google Ads: Conversion measurement and ad performance reporting. Marketing attribution data described above (including gclid) may be shared with Google to attribute inquiries to specific ads or campaigns.
  • CallRail: Phone call tracking and attribution
  • Microsoft Clarity: Session recording and heatmaps for UX improvement
  • Vercel: Website hosting; receives standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path)

Cookies & Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode v2 to manage how analytics and advertising signals are transmitted to Google. Because olsonsuperior.com serves customers in California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), our default consent state grants analytics and advertising storage so we can measure marketing effectiveness and provide a relevant experience to visitors who arrive from an ad or search result. Visitors who wish to opt out of personalized advertising or analytics may do so by following the instructions in the “Your California Privacy Rights” section below.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (including the marketing attribution sharing with Google described above)
  • Limit our use of sensitive personal information
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, the sharing of marketing attribution data with Google (described above) may qualify as “sharing” under CPRA. To opt out of this sharing, request access to or deletion of your personal information, or exercise any other California privacy right, email us at 247@olsonsuperior.com with the subject line “CCPA Privacy Request.” We will honor verified requests within the timeframes required by California law.
