Eric Olson founded Olson Superior Plumbing in 2008 as a one-truck operation in Orange County. Today, he leads a portfolio of home services businesses — residential plumbing, commercial and multi-family, and HVAC — with $35 million in combined annual revenue and a team that has served over 142,000 homes and businesses across Southern California.

What sets Eric apart from most business owners in the trades is that he never left the field. He holds an active California C-36 Plumbing License, still runs diagnostics on complex jobs, and personally built the company’s in-house training program — Olson Superior University — where every technician is trained before working independently. His articles on water heaters, repiping, sewer systems, and leak detection come from 17 years of actually doing the work, not researching it secondhand.

Before founding Olson Superior, Eric spent years as an apprentice under experienced master plumbers, learning every part of the trade from foundation sewer lines to rooftop vent stacks. That tradesman’s perspective shapes everything about how the company operates — from the C.A.R.E. values framework (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) he created, to the company’s People Over Plumbing philosophy that puts the homeowner’s experience ahead of the transaction.
